HORIZONTAL LIFELINE SYSTEMS

Fall arrest and fall restraint horizontal safety lines offer cost-effective fall protection. They’re the ideal choice when collective protection such as guardrails isn’t viable, or when you need a discreet solution.

Our systems are suitable for use on most roofs, wall, ceilings and other structures.

FALL ARREST AND FALL RESTRAINT SAFETY LINES

Our horizontal lifelines are wire/cable-based systems that users attach to via a lanyard, harness, and traveller.

Workers can move freely on the roof while staying attached to the fall protection system without restrictions.

If the user falls, the system absorbs the force, arrests the fall, and prevents the worker from hitting the ground or an obstruction.

We offer a range of personal fall protection solutions, including fall arrest and restraint line systems and linked mobile man anchors. These options provide fall restraint protection for multiple users.

THE BEST SOLUTION FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Not sure what solution you need? Do you want to prevent people from reaching the edge of a roof/fall hazard? Or do users need to work freely on a roof without any restrictions? We can help.

Our team of qualified engineers will complete a site survey or work to your drawings/specifications to determine the most appropriate solution for your roof type, user requirements and budget.

Fall arrest and fall restraint lifeline systems have been tested for use on most roof types and conform to current standards, including:

Frequently Asked Questions

A lifeline is a fall protection system that allows a worker wearing appropriate PPE to connect to a secure line while moving around the roof. Depending on its design, it can be used for fall restraint or fall arrest.
A fall restraint system uses an anchor point with a fixed-length lanyard. This stops you from reaching an area where there’s a risk of a fall. Fall arrest systems allow you to reach an area where there's a risk of a fall. If you do fall, the system arrests the fall before you hit the ground or other surface.
Yes. Lifeline systems can be retrofitted to many existing roofs. The roof structure, layout, fixing method and required access will need to be assessed before the system is designed.
Lifeline systems require regular inspection by a competent person. The exact frequency depends on the system, its use and manufacturer requirements, but as a rule examinations are typically required at least every 12 months.
Yes. Anyone using a lifeline system must be competent and understand how to use the system and associated PPE correctly, including how to connect to and move around it safely.
